Whitko Sports Wrap – Sept. 21
Kaitlyn Reed turned in a record-setting performance to lead the Whitko volleyball team past Wawasee Monday night.
Reed slammed down a program best 22 kills as the Wildcats topped the Warriors 25-15, 25-21, 25-17 in Syracuse.
Reed also had 25 digs and three aces in the 14th win of the season for Whitko, which is the most for the program in almost two decades.
Haley Yohe racked up 30 assists in the win. Whitney Marsh had seven kills for the winners.
Whitko will play tonight at Wabash.
Girls Soccer Blanked
The Whitko girls soccer team lost a 5-0 match to Garrett Monday evening.
Goalied Ilyssa Bennett had 13 saves for the Wildcats.
Whitko will host Eastbrook on Wednesday night.
Tennis Team Falls To Chargers
The Whitko boys tennis team dropped a 5-0 final to West Noble in action Monday.
The Wildcats will play at Tippecanoe Valley tonight.
