Bourbon Police Arrest Man For Drunk Driving
BOURBON — Vincent G. Winieckie Jr., Elkhart, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated early this morning, Saturday, Sept. 26, by Bourbon Police. He was taken to the Marshall County Jail and held on a cash bond of $3,000 due to a prior conviction of OWI within five years and being on probation.
Bourbon Police report around 1:10 a.m. Bourbon Officer Matt Geiger saw a vehicle being driven without headlights and disregard two stop signs in the area of South Bourbon and Quad streets.
The vehicle was stopped and the driver was found to have been drinking. He failed a field sobriety test and refused a certified chemical test.
