Melody Kaye ‘Mel’ May
Melody Kaye “Mel” May, 48, North Webster, passed away at 3:10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at the home of her parents. She was born on March 23, 1967, in Warsaw, to David W. “Dave” and Betty G. (Tindall) Berger.
She was a lifetime North Webster area resident and graduated in 1986 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse. She was formerly employed at R.R. Donnelley in Warsaw and worked at Bart’s Watersports in North Webster for 19 years. She formerly attended the 1st Presbyterian Church in Warsaw and was a member of American Legion Post #253 Auxiliary in North Webster.
She is survived by her daughter: Kayla Berger, North Webster; son: Joshua Rudd, North Webster; parents: Dave and Betty Berger, North Webster; two sisters: Lori (Matt) Brubaker, Warsaw; and Michelle (Jerry) Fisher, North Webster; half-sister: Gina Bono, Boulder, Colo.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Mike Beezley of the Clunette United Methodist Church and John Bryan Lowe III of the New Life Christian Church, Warsaw, officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw.
