Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
8:44 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, South Raspberry Court, Warsaw. Driver: Judith A. Kline, 73, East Dove Lane, Milford. Kline was backing from a private drive containing multiple vehicles, backing into one of the parked vehicles, registered to Brian J. Davison, North Dovewood Trail, Warsaw. Damage up to $5,000.
7:51 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, West Shilling Road, west of South SR 25, Warsaw. Dustin B. Severns, 26, South Tinkey Road, Mentone. Deer hit the side of his vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
7:01 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, South CR 400W, south of West Crystal Lake Road, Warsaw. Driver: Lisa A. Hernandez, 37, East Walnut Street, Akron. Hit deer. Damage up to $10,000.
3:17 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, South SR 25, west of South CR 600W, Mentone. Driver: Christopher Stevens, 21, Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Stevens suffered minor bleeding to the head and was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Stevens swerved to miss a deer, lost control, went off the road overturning coming to rest on its top. Damage up to $5,000.
7:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28, West US 30, east of North CR 650W, Warsaw. Driver: Thomas E. Lee, 50, Gold Way, Sparks, Nev. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
4:49 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, East Center Street, east of North Lincoln Street, Warsaw. Drivers: David S. Valentine, 21, East Center Street, Warsaw; Ryan A. Reed, 32, North Parker Street, Warsaw; and Keeton L. Bartol, 17, Country Club Drive East, Warsaw. Valentine’s vehicle struck the back of the Reed vehicle, which collided with the Bartol vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
4:31 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, East Center Street and North Buffalo Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Valentina M. Blocher, 31, Lake John Circle, Winona Lake, and Mary A. Creighton, 63, West Russell Avenue, Warsaw. Blocher was watching the vehicle behind her when she entered the intersection on a red light, colliding with the Creighton vehicle. Damage up to $10,000. Blocher cited for disregarding a traffic signal.
4:01 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, East Center Street, Warsaw. Driver: Alice M. Cordell, 48, East Sheridan Street, Warsaw. As turning her vehicle to park, the vehicle struck a pole next to the gas pump. The accident occurred at 6:30 a.m. but did not report the accident because she would be late for work. Damage up to $5,000.
3:39 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, Canterbury Lane, Warsaw. Driver: Katie M. Chaffins, 25, Sophie Lane, Warsaw. Chaffins was pulling into a parking space and clipped the rear of a parked vehicle. Damage up to $1,000.
