Area Police Reports
Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 6:40 p.m. Monday, 400 block East High Street, Etna Green. Christopher A. Irwin reported a stolen license plate and registration.
- 11:09 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28, 8300 block South SR 19, Akron. Kyla M. Pace reported a battery.
- 12:21 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, 8200 block East US 30, Pierceton. Police were called to Kosciusko Community Hospital for a patient involved in an ATV accident. Joseph Luis Criswell, 35, was injured while operating a John Deere Gator.
- 5:29 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 100 block EMS B18 Lane, Pierceton. Alan R. Frank reported two individuals and a dog were attacked by another dog.
- 5:02 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 5700 block South Packerton Road, Warsaw. Police responded to a crash where a vehicle was abandoned in the road after crashing and the driver left the scene.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 4:17 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 800 block East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Israel G. Villarreal reported a fraudulent check was cashed at his business. Value: $1,680.
- 1:37 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 1700 block South Center Street, Warsaw. A bicycle was found on East Main Street between ACE Hardware and Lincoln School.
