Indiana Schools On Blue Ribbon List
INDIANA — The U.S. Department of Education has announced this years’ National Blue Ribbon Schools, and ten Indiana schools have made the list. The honor is based on high performance or notable progress in closing achievement gaps.
A total of 335 schools in 45 states, and military bases overseas in Germany and South Korea were recognized.
The schools in Indiana are:
- Centerton Elementary School, Martinsville.
- Farmersville Elementary School, Mount Vernon.
- Memorial Elementary School, Valparaiso.
- Murdock Elementary School, Lafayette.
- North Elementary School, Poseyville.
- Oak Trace Elementary School, Westfield.
- Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, Carmel.
- Prairie Vista Elementary School, Granger.
- Saint Pius X Catholic School, Granger.
- South Adams High School, Berne.
