‘Art-tober’ First Friday Tonight In Warsaw
On Friday, Oct. 2, downtown Warsaw will be adorned with art all around the courthouse square. Both seasoned artist and artist-hopefuls are invited to attend the event, titled “Art-tober,” and celebrate their inner artist.
As usual, First Friday will be held from 5-9 p.m. Music will begin at the center stage at 6 p.m. with the musical stylings of Indiana Band Mercy Triumphs.
Local art teachers will be on the scene to provide fun art projects for kids to do. In addition, the Diversity Tent is asking for help in decorating their nationality tree.
Those looking to add a personal touch to their home look no further. Local artists will be showcasing their work for purchase. Guests are encouraged to get their Christmas shopping started early by providing loved ones with a unique, artistic gift.
Next month at November’s First Friday guest will be able to participate in a big chili cook-off and are asked to get their recipes ready. In addition, everyone is advised to be on the watch for the annual Twinkle Light Parade in December.
