Lakeland Christian To Host Fall Break Day
By Scott Wiley
Director of Development, Lakeland Christian Academy
WARSAW — Lakeland Christian Academy will host its second annual “Fall Break Day at LCA” all day Wednesday, Oct. 21. LCA is inviting all sixth- though 12th-grade students and their parents for an inside look at LCA during the public schools’ fall break.
Each child will shadow a Lakeland student from 8 a.m. to noon. Parents and students will see the difference between a large and small school to see which one is right for them and will be able to attend classes to see how high the academic standards are at LCA and how it looks to have subjects taught from a Christian perspective.
Participants will attend a student-led chapel and worship service, eat lunch with students and have the chance to attend an LCA Indiana High School Athletic Association event of their choice.
There will also be a breakout session to answer any questions. This session will have parents, students, administrators and teachers present to answer any and all questions about an education at LCA, including academic standards, college course offerings, the use of School Choice vouchers and financial aid.
This event is free and open to all families, students and church youth groups with students in grades six through 12.
