FULTON – After a rough weekend at the Dunes Tourney, the Triton volleyball program got back on track. The Lady Trojans swept past Caston 25-13, 25-14, 25-13 to finish at 6-2 in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference.

Triton, which dropped three of four of its contests at the Dunes Tourney, moved 14-13 overall with the win at Caston Tuesday night.

Getting some help at the net, Courtney Jennings and Brooklyn Bitting added seven kills to go with the eight kills from Jaela Meister and five from Nicole Sechrist. Jennings added three digs and an ace while Meister and Sechrist combined for 11 digs.

Quinn Downing and Emma Ross combined for 21 digs and Hannah Wanemacher posted 21 assists, four digs and an ace.

Triton’s JV also won via the sweep, 25-10, 25-12.

Triton will be off for a week before taking on a pair of non-conference foes at home in Wawasee next Tuesday and Plymouth next Thursday.
