Mishawaka Author Shares Stirring Story In New Romantic Fiction
MISHAWAKA — Author Alyssa DelPrete announces the nationwide release of her new coming-of-age novel, “White Roses,” where she shares a story about friendship, family and the things we hide to protect those we love.
For Tom Reed, coming home means confronting the ghosts of his past.
In “White Roses,” Reed is returning to his Midwestern hometown to finish his senior year of high school. This is three years after he embarked on a journey to Los Angeles to achieve his dreams with the girl he loves.
His dreams have been shattered, and the girl he hoped to share them with is lying in a hospital. Chances of her survival are dwindling with each day she spends in a comatose state. Her twin sister, Alexis Holloway, is shocked by Reed’s unannounced return. But she soon sees it as the opportunity to finally uncover the secrets swirling around her sister’s accident — secrets that tore their family apart.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
