Historical Society’s 50th Anniversary Dinner

WARSAW — Kosciusko County Historical Society will celebrate its 50th anniversary during 2016. Founded in 1966, the society has grown in membership, activities, and properties while remaining true to our mission. That mission is to collect, exhibit and preserve county history, and to provide research materials and educational programs for all people.
Charter members of the historical society are: Mary Ettinger; John Kleeman; Jerry Lessig; William Landrigan; Michael Klondaris; Betty Stahl; Larry Engle; Carl Diehl; Cindy Klondaris Hampton; Greg Steffe; Jack Anglin; Mrs. Donald Boggs; Eddie and Louise Creighton; Max Egolf; Rex Irvine; Donna Keough; Wayne Teeple; Donna Zimmer; William, Tim, and Melinda Creighton (Truex); David, Jeffrey, Amy, and Rebecca Keough; Jeff, Dan, and Jenny Strayer; and Kevin Steffe.
The public is invited to the 50th anniversary dinner at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at the Center Lake, Pavilion, Warsaw.
The catered dinner will be followed by an entertaining evening filled with songs, stories and memories of our exciting 50 year history. Drawing for door prizes will cap the evening.
Cost for the event is $20 per person. Reservations are necessary by Oct. 19 and can be mailed to KCHS, P.O. Box 1071, Warsaw, IN, 46581 or brought to the museum, 121 N. Indiana St., Warsaw, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
