Josephine Fields
Josephine Fields, 83, of Packerton, passed away at 8:55 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8 in Signature Health Care, Bremen.
Fields was born March 31, 1932, to Albert an Anna (Stephens) Hall in Prestonsburg, Ky. She married her husband, Okie Fields, July 31, 1951.
Fields was a homemaker and a member of the Old United Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons: Okie (Lee) Hall, Packerton; Arthur Fields, Mentone; Tommie Fields, Leesburg; two daughters: Kathryn Yates, Clunette; and Irene Black, Etna Green; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and two sisters: Mary Jane England, Fort Wayne; and Geneva Stephens, Marion.
Fields was preceded in death by her husband, Okie Fields; a son: Ronnie Fields; six sisters: Bessie Wallen, Edith Collins, Mabel Prater, Eve Hall, Ethel Hall, Ruth Ousley; and two brothers: Boby Hall and Elbert Hall.
Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11 at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw. A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12 in Titus Funeral Home. Pastor Glen Hall will officiate. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Silver Lake.
Memorials may be sent to a charity of choice or simple random acts of kindness may be done for others in Josephine’s memory.
