Marion Officer Supports Breast Cancer Awareness With Pink Patrol Car
MARION — An officer in Marion is using her patrol car to support breast cancer awareness.
The Marion police chief allowed Sgt. Amber Richards to have her car wrapped in pink for the month of October.
Richards wanted to honor her aunt who passed away from breast cancer and recognize several of her friends who are survivors.
She says she’s been patrolling the streets for the past two weeks with the car’s new look and has gotten amazing response from the community.
