Sandra L. McVicker, 60, Culver, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Sandy was born to Richard and Bernice (Hajicek) Thomas on June 2, 1955, in South Bend. She attended Culver Community High School. On March 17, 1973, she married Clifford McVicker in Culver, Indiana. He survives. Sandy loved to crochet, shopping, and going out to eat. She was a computer gamer. Wartune was her favorite game. She dearly loved spending lots of time with her grandchildren.

Sandy is survived by her husband: Cliff, Culver; sons: Travis (Tammy); and Jeremy (Jeanie) McVicker, Plymouth; and Richard (Lee Ann) McVicker, Knox; daughters: Stacy McVicker, Culver; and Donna (Kris) Lindstrom, Manistee, Mich.; brother: Randy Thomas, Monterey; sister: Sharon Ehlinger, Plymouth; and her 24 grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held at the Odom Funeral Home, Culver, from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16. Services will follow at 7 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
