Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:

• 7:19 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, 100 block of EMS D18 Lane, Syracuse. Antonio Jon Galindo reported his dog had been stolen.
• 2:48 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, 5000 block of North CR 925E, North Webster. David J. Hutter reported a burglary attempt.
• 3:31 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, 9900 block of North CR 800E, Syracuse. Criminal mischief was reported at Century Link.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:

• 8:17 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 300 block of South Union Street, Warsaw. Jerald J. Womack reported a battery.
• 8:43 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 300 block of North Buffalo Street, Warsaw. Fred A. Vining reported items were stolen from his car.
• 3:09 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2100 block of East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. A wallet belonging to John Robert Copley was found lying in the street.
• 4:25 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 100 block of Orchard Drive, Warsaw. Noah S. Sheeley reported a license plate had been stolen.
