Globetrotters Coming Back To Grace College
WINONA LAKE – As part of their 90th year, the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters will bring their family show to back to Grace College’s Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center on Jan. 20, 2016, at 7 p.m.
The Globetrotters, who also came to Grace in 2011, are embarking on their 90th Anniversary World Tour.
“We are excited to host an event of this magnitude on our campus. The Globetrotters always put on a one-of-a-kind evening, and we are thrilled to bring this experience to Northern Indiana,” said Grace athletic director Chad Briscoe. “This will be a memorable night of family entertainment for Kosciusko County, and we’re grateful that the Globetrotters chose our arena to showcase during their 90th Anniversary World Tour.”
On the court, the Globetrotters’ 90-year celebration will feature some of the greatest athletes and entertainers on the planet. With a star-studded roster, the Globetrotters’ one-of-a-kind show is unrivaled in the world of family entertainment. Every game will showcase incredible ball handling wizardry, rim-rattling dunks, trick shots, hilarious comedy and unequaled fan interaction.
Throughout their history, the Globetrotters have showcased their iconic talents in 122 countries and territories on six continents, often breaking down cultural and societal barriers while providing fans with their first-ever basketball experience. Proud inductees of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, the Globetrotters have entertained hundreds of millions of fans—among them popes, kings, queens, and presidents—over nine thrilling decades.
