Kessler Mansion Opening To The Public For Estate Sale
INDIANAPOLIS — After years of privacy, one of Indianapolis’ most famous homes, the Kessler Mansion, will soon open to the public.
The eclectic home, a 26,000 square foot space made famous by its outlandish appearance and previous owner, has been featured on HGTV’s Extreme Homes and countless national media outlets.
The home’s more unusual features include a grotto with a hot tub, numerous gargoyles and dolphin statues out front and near the swimming pool, spiral staircases, abundant round windows, curved decks and a ballroom.
An estate sale will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6 and Sunday, Nov. 8 at the Kessler Mansion, 4923 Kessler Blvd., East Drive, Indianapolis. The estate sale at this massive residence will be held in the grand ballroom, a 7,000 square-foot space packed full of items from current and previous owners of the home.
Items up for sale include outdoor statues, artwork, linens, high end furniture, lamps and lighting, glassware, firearms and ammunition, and home decor.
