Domino’s Launches Purpose-Built Pizza Delivery Vehicle
ANN ARBOR, MICH. — In a joint partnership with three of the biggest names in Michigan brands, Domino’s, Roush and General Motors have announced the pizza company’s most innovative delivery vehicle yet.
On Wednesday, Oct. 21, Domino’s released news of the Domino’s DXP, an adapted version of the Chevrolet Spark.
“The Domino’s DXP is the first purpose-built vehicle aimed at revolutionizing pizza delivery,” said Russell Weiner, President of Domino’s USA. “This innovation allows drivers to do their jobs with greater ease and efficiency, and demonstrates that Domino’s is absolutely fanatical about making perfect deliveries.”
The design of the DXP took over three years and Domino’s is now working with Roush Enterprises to convert and deliver 100 DXP’S to 25 markets across the U.S., including major rollouts in Boston, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, New Orleans, San Diego and Seattle over the next 90 days.
Consumers who spot the new delivery cars are told to share via social media using the hashtag #DXP.
