“Love … Is more than three words mumbled before bedtime. Love is sustained by action, a pattern of devotion in the things we do for each other everyday.” This is a quote from Nicholas Sparks book “The Wedding.” Nicholas Sparks is an American writer and novelist. He has written 18 novels and two non-fiction books. Ten of his books have been turned into movies and an 11th is one the way.
“The Choice,” a 2007 novel, will be making its way to theaters Friday, Feb. 5, 2016. “The Choice” tells the story of a long love affair that begins when Travis Parker and Gabby Holland first met as neighbors in a small coastal town and end up pursuing a relationship that neither could have foreseen.
It spans a decade and traces the evolution of a love affair that is ultimately tested by life’s most defining events.
Sparks has also just released a new novel called “See Me.” He will be doing a book tour through the U.S. as well as the U.K. His book tour officially began Friday, Oct. 23, in his home town of New Bern, N.C.
In this book he stated that he tried to make it a unique story line with more twists and turns. But also gave the characters more flaws than characters in previous novels.
Personally I am a huge fan of Sparks and his books, I have seen every movie at least 10 times and read every book. I love how the stories flow onto the page and it is like you are there watching them unfold right before you. They talk about love and life, that sometimes life gets in the way of love but true love can withstand any distance or time. They are classics that I believe will be around, still being loved long after I’m gone.
