Stephen F. Randolph
Stephen F. Randolph, 53, Culver, passed away on Oct. 23, 2015, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth.
Stephen was born on March 23, 1962, in Beach Grove, to Allen F. and Joan (Walters) Randolph. He was one of three children. After he graduated high school in Elmhurst, Ill., the family moved to Culver. While attending Ivy Tech College in Fort Wayne Stephen met his future wife Beth Melinat at a fraternity party. After dating a while, they married on Nov. 5, 1983 in Michigan. Together they raised their two children, Ian and Tatiana.
In his younger years Stephen attended Woodcraft Camp at Culver Military Academies for many years. He was a marathon runner and loved to sail and water ski. He was a history buff and enjoyed making Indian crafts, moccasins, beads, and doing leatherwork. At one time, he was a member of the Culver-Union Township Volunteer Fire Dept. Before Stephen’s illness, he worked in the printing industry as a cutter-folder. Town and Country Printing in Plymouth was his last place of employment.
Beth’s one word description of Stephen was faithful. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years: Beth Randolph, Culver; son: Ian; daughter: Tatiana, Culver; and sisters: Cynthia (Steve) McDaniel, Plymouth; and Susan (Frank) Neikirk, Grovertown. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the CMA Woodcraft Council Ring.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society in Stephen’s memory.
The Odom Funeral Home, Culver, assisted the family.
