David Scott White
David Scott White, 46, South Whitley, died unexpectedly at his home Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, of natural causes.
He was born Jan. 27, 1969, in Alexandria, a son of David Gates and Edna D. Boone. His formative years were spent in Alexandra. He graduated from Alexandria – Monroe High School with the class of 1988. He then completed vocational training as a welder.
He was currently employed with Tenneco in Ligonier as a welder and prior, he was employed for 11 years with OMCO in Pierceton.
He loved spending time with his children teaching them sports and playing video games. He also enjoyed fishing.
He leaves behind his four children: Kurri L. White; Snow K. White; Paige M. White; and Caleb J. White, all of South Whitley; a grandson: Teagen Miller; his mother: Edna D. Boone; Fort Wayne; two sisters: DeAnne S. (Tim) Erli; and Jennifer K. (Andrew) Lollar, North, S.C.; a brother: Mark S. (Christina) White, Anderson; and his children’s mother: Katty Miller, Ky.
The funeral service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Smith and Sons Miller Chapel, South Whitley. Visitation is Saturday from 1 p.m. until the service at the funeral home.
