Donald J. “Don” Lines Sr., 80, Syracuse, passed away at 2:45 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw. He was born on Feb. 11, 1935, in Gary, to Jack N. and Vivian R. (Baker) Lines.

He graduated in 1953, from Hobart High School and was married on March 7, 1953, in Hobart, to Donna M. Koritko who survives. He moved to the Syracuse area in 1984, from Hobart, was a truck driver for 50+ years and retired from Rinker Boat Company in Syracuse as a delivery driver after 18 years.

He was a member of the Wawasee Kiwanis Club in Syracuse.

He is survived by his wife: Donna M. Lines, Syracuse; two daughters: Donna Jacklyn (Dale) Klakowski, Keewatin, Min.; and Cheryl Ann (Dean) Klakoski, Portage; son: Donald (Kimberly Kay) Lines Jr., Indianapolis; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter: Elise Klakoski.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, in the funeral home. Burial will take place at 3 p.m. Eastern Time at Graceland Cemetery Chapel, Valparaiso.

Preferred memorial may be given to Wawasee Kiwanis Club, Syracuse.
