Donna Mae Bevington
Donna Mae Bevington, 85, Leesburg, passed away at 6:18 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at I.U. Goshen Hospital in Goshen. She was born on Dec. 4, 1929, in Warsaw, to Edward E. and Mamie F. (Roberts) Black.
She graduated in 1947 from North Webster High School and was married in October 1949, to Max Wendell Bevington who preceded her on Nov. 2, 1981. She was a homemaker and former co-owner and operator with her husband of the Plym Park Golf Course in Niles, Mich. for several years. She lived in the North Webster, Leesburg, Niles and Elkhart areas most of her life and formerly wintered in Sebring, Fla.
She was a member of the Church of God in North Webster.
She is surived by her daughter: Bobbie (George) Cappetta, Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas; two sons: Jerry Bevington, Durango, Colo.; and Terry Bevington, Owosso, Mich.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law: Dolores Black; Sally Black, both of Leesburg; and Marilyn Davidhizer, Elkhart. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters: Margaret Black; Shirley Butler; and Rosella Hardy; four brothers: Ralph Roberts; Ben; Orlie; and Doug Black; and three infant brothers.
Visitation will be from 11-1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Boyer of the church officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County.
