Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
7:52 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, West Hoppus Road, north of Kinsey Road, Warsaw. Driver: Martha J. Dennin, 56, West Maple Lane, Claypool. Dennin swerved to miss a deer, went off the road and hit an embankment. Damage up to $2,500.
10:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, East US 30, west of East Van Ness Road, Pierceton. Thomas E. Kubacki, 55, South Third Street, Pierceton. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
6:53 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, North CR 200E, north of East CR 950N, Milford. Rita M. Elliott, 71, North Conner Court, Milford. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
6:10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, SR 13, north of East CR 125S, Pierceton. Driver: Donald L. Burton, 49, North CR 800E, Rochester. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
3:22 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, North Lake View Drive, east of West Hoffman Lake Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Jacqueline S. Clase, 63, West CR 225N. Etna Green. Clase swerved to miss an animal and hit a mailbox. Damage up to $5,000.

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
9:49 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, Lake City Highway and North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Driver: Kory D. Mann, 38, East Ridge Valley Drive, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
6:11 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, North Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Don E. Runyan 77, South Circle Drive, Warsaw, and Yatzry E. Fuentes Lopez, 17, Robin Drive, Warsaw. Runyan was backing his vehicle from a parking space and hit the Lopez vehicle, which was also backing from a parking space. Damage up to $10,000.
1:45 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, South Detroit Street and East Prairie Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Marci M. Shepherd, 41, North CR 300E, Milford, and Nicholas J. Prater, 28, Boydston Street, Warsaw. Shepherd looked away from the road and drove through a yield sign, hitting the Prater vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
7:09 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, East Center Street, Warsaw. Driver: Pamela S. Barnhart, 51, East Oak Point Crossing, Warsaw. Barnhart failed to clear off her windshield, except a small spot, before driving and failed to see a concrete base of a light/utility pole, hitting the base. Damage up to $5,000.
1:58 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Drivers: Frances G. Biltz, 77, North Tamarack St., Warsaw, and Marsolie K. Kuhns, 50, South Cottage Avenue, Goshen. Biltz backed from a parking space and backed into the Kuhns vehicle, which had also backed from a parking space. Damage up to $2,500.
11:50 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, Lake City Highway, west of Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Charles A. Hicks, 59, South Mayflower Road, South Bend, suffered severe bleeding to the head. He was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Witnesses told police Hicks’ vehicle veered left, into the left lane and then onto the shoulder of the road when the vehicle hit the end of the guard rail head on. The vehicle then flipped into the median. Damage up to $25,000.
