UPDATE: Semi vs Car At CR 900N And SR 15
UPDATE — Tami Workman, 48, Nappanee, suffered minor injuries in the semi vs. vehicle accident this morning on SR 15, at CR 900N, south of Milford. Workman complained of neck and back pain. She was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department reports Christopher Sherlock, 23, Nappanee, was eastbound on CR 900N in a Dodge Avenger, when his vehicle came to a stop in the middle of the intersection of SR 15. Sherlock attempted to back the vehicle out of the intersection, but was struck by a southbound semi-tractor driven by Thomas Shelby, 30, Syracuse.
Sherlock and Shelby were not injured.
The accident was at 6:18 a.m. today, Monday, Nov. 9.
MILFORD — Two people are being treated at a semi vs. vehicle accident at SR 15 and CR 900N, south of Milford. The accident occurred at approximately 6:18 a.m.
According to information at the scene, a southbound semi, hauling close to 80,000 pounds of liquid asphalt struck a Dodge Avenger vehicle which was in the middle of the intersection.
Milford Fire Department, Lutheran EMS, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department responded.
