WARSAW — Charles A. Hicks, 59, South Mayflower Road, South Bend, was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital, following a one-vehicle accident at 11:50 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5. The accident was on Lake City Highway, west of Anchorage Road, Warsaw.

Hicks suffered severe bleeding to the head.

Witnesses told Warsaw Police they observed Hicks’ 2004 Dodge truck veer left into the left bound lane, and then onto the shoulder of the road, where it crashed head on into the end of the guard rail. The truck then flipped into the median where it came to rest on its top.

Damage was estimated up to $25,000.
