Williams, McCoomb Earn All-NISC
WINONA LAKE – A pair of Lakeland Christian Academy soccer players were among the allotment of All-Conference selections for the Northern Indiana Soccer Conference.
Junior Cross Williams was named NISC First Team and sophomore Garrett McCoomb was named NISC Second Team for the Cougars this season.
Culver Academy swept the Player of the Year categories, with Adrian Juraldini taking NISC Player of the Year and Michael Wright earning Goalkeeper of the Year. Both Academy players are just juniors.
Juraldini, Wright and teammates Mauricio Bailleres and James Kerr all made the NISC First Team list. Bethany Christian had a trio of players in Matthew Smucker, Kyle Snyder and Ian Bombarger.
Argos had a pair of players in Vincent Stone and Spencer Van Der Weele, Trinity Christian had Kevin Ackermann and Alex Rowland and Elkhart Christian had Connor Mathes all included on the First Team.
Heading the Second Team list were Culver Academy’s Andres Sada and Dominic Puzevic, Bethany’s Martin Gerig, Cedric Brenneman and Tim Cartmel, Trinity’s David Preuss, John Was and Pat Morin, Argos’ Chandler Campbell and Alex Stone, and Elkhart Christian’s Evan Hartman and Riley Brown.
