Viola May Horein, 94, Wakarusa, died 10:07 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. She was born May 3, 1921, in Muskegon, Mich. to Ralph and Cora (Teems) Arthurhultz. She married Arthur L. Horein on May 3, 1941, in Mishawaka and he died June 12, 2000.

Surviving are daughters: Judith (Donald) Klopfenstein, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Dawn Marie Horein, Wakarusa; Dian L. (Barton) Black, Syracuse; son: Bruce Horein, Wakarusa; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents; husband: Arthur; sister: Margarett Felbom; and a brother: Raymond Arthurhultz.

Viola was a 1939 graduate of Mishawaka High School, a member of Grace Brethren Church, Osceola and a homemaker. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, and one hour prior to the 3 p.m. service Sunday, Nov. 15, all at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, Wakarusa. Pastors Greg Serafino and David Knight, both of Grace Brethren Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
