Three Teens Injured In Noble County Crash
LIGONIER — Three Ligonier teenagers were injured in a one-vehicle accident early today, Saturday, Nov. 14. The accident was at 2:30 a.m. on Ball Road and CR 700W, in Noble County. One teenager is in critical condition.
Roman Rubalcava, 19, a passenger in the vehicle suffered unknown injuries and listed in critical condition. The driver, an unnamed 17-year-old male, suffered a possible broken leg. A 16-year-old unnamed male passenger, complained of head pain. All three were taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center.
According to Noble County Sheriff’s Deputies, the 17-year-old was operating a 2007 Huyndai Tiburon eastbound on Ball Road, west of CR 700W, when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle went off the north side of the roadway. When the vehicle came back onto the roadway it was in a 90 degree skid and struck a tree. The vehicle impacted a tree at the driver’s door.
The crash is still under investigation by the Noble County Sheriff’s Department.
