Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

5:53 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, East CR 300S, east of South Country Club Road, Warsaw. Driver: Darren E. Wetzel, 45, South Packerton Road, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.

7:47 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, South SR 15, north of West CR 700S, Claypool. Driver: Melanie A. Slone, 34, West CR 900S, Silver Lake. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.

6:40 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, East US 30 and South CR 450E, Pierceton. Driver: Jeffrey A. Murphy, 49, Ivywood Drive, Warsaw. Murphy reported a cube shaped object flew through the air, bouncing off the roadway and hitting the roof and windshield of his vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

11:41 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, Fisher Avenue and Short Ridge Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Kassandra K. Simcox, 24, Bashor Road, Goshen. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.

11:24 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, Lake City Highway, east of Parker Street, Warsaw. Driver: David J. Bennett, 34, East CR 400S, Warsaw. Deer ran into the truck bed of his vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

11:16 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, East CR 200N and Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Jadyn D. Bolen, 18, Anchorage Road, Warsaw, and Whitney N. Robinson, 28, East Wooster Road, Pierceton. Bolen’s vehicle struck the back of the Robinson vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

3:42 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, North Parker Street and Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Anthony C. Clay, 46, Lydia Drive, Warsaw; Jeanne F. Gillenwater, 69, Behlman Drive, Warsaw; and Jennifer N. Ibarra, 39, South Packerton Road, Winona Lake. Clay’s vehicle rolled forward into the rear of the stopped Gillenwater vehicle, which was pushed into the back of the Ibara vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

2:07 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, North Detroit Street and East Main Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Mark W. Troup, 40, West Clinton Street, Goshen, and Jerry D. Phillips, 46, South CR 300E, Warsaw. Troup fell asleep while driving, causing his vehicle to drift from the right lane into the left lane and into the Phillips vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.

1:22 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, Lake City Highway, east of Springhill Road, Warsaw. Driers: Nicole E. Swanson, 22, West Cedarwood Lane, Ingleside, Ill., and Zhzhou Wang, 23, South Turtle Creek Drive, South Bend. Swanson’s vehicle struck the back of the Wang vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

12:21 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, Argonne Road and East Jefferson Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jordan M. Hargrove, 21, Rhodes Circle, Lenexa, Kan., and Ted C. Wright, 59, East Kenneys Court, Columbia City. Hargrove disregarded a traffic signal, entering the intersection hitting the Wright vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

3:20 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23, North Lake Street, east of North West Street, Warsaw. Driver: Jesus R. Salinas, 49, East CR 200N, Warsaw. Salinas’s vehicle ran off the road, struck a directional curve sign, then hit a curb. Salinas walked away from the scene and was located by police, He was cited for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and no operator’s license. Damage up to $10,000.
