Car Company Warsaw Offering Free Christmas Trees Sunday
WARSAW — The weekend following Thanksgiving is rife with deal seeking men and women, young and old alike, on the prowl for a great deal. As Black Friday passes and many begin to look toward Cyber Monday, Kosciusko families looking for a deal almost too good to be true need only to look at a local car dealership. At 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, The Car Company, located at 3932 E. US Highway 30, Warsaw, will be giving out free Christmas trees.
According to General Manager Derrick Sainer, though this is his 13th year handing out trees at the dealership, the history of spreading holiday cheer to the community is a long one. The Car Company has handed out free, organic trees for 21 of the 26 years it has been open in the community.
“It is nice to be able to give back here in town to the people in the community,” stated Sainer. “We appreciate our customers who shop locally and want to give back to them.”
Sainer stated the event boasts a great turnout every year. Guests are welcomed to enjoy hot chocolate, “grandma’s sloppy joe sandwiches,” donuts, cookies and candy canes. The lot will be open for guests to peruse vehicles while enjoying holiday tunes as well.
Though the event begins at 10 a.m., Sainer noted guests are welcome to line up early. The business is also hosting a holiday cash giveaway with $500 drawings held each Friday. Guests can enter at the dealership or by visiting The Car Company Suzuki’s Facebook page.
