Granger Teen Arrested In Argos
ARGOS — An 18-year-old teen from Granger was arrested early Sunday morning, Nov. 29, in Argos.
Christopher Gregory Hunt, 18, was arrested and booked in the Marshall County jail for operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
At approximately 1 a.m. Sunday, the Marshall County Central Dispatch Center received a 911 call regarding a possible impaired or sleeping driving, traveling at a high rate of speed. A patrolman with the Marshall County Police Department located the vehicle described traveling northbound on US 31.
After the officer observed traffic infractions being committed, a traffic stop was conducted in the 100 block of US 31 and SR 100, Argos. A subsequent investigation revealed the driver, identified as Hunt, was under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of marijuana.
The charges are a class C misdemeanor and class A misdemeanor.
