There is still time to sign up to receive a letter from Santa. Forms are available at the Parks Department office, 117 E. Canal St., or on its website. Forms must be received in the parks department office by Dec. 14. There is a $2 cost per letter.
The Christmas Countdown will take place from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11. Celebrate with crafts, hot cocoa, cookies, music and more. Santa will make a special appearance at the event so bring a camera to snap a picture of the kids.
