ETNA GREEN — Etna Green Town Councilman Andrew Cook has recently submitted a declination of re-election by default to another term, effective Jan. 1. Cook ran unopposed in the election, and as of Jan. 1, there will be a vacant seat on the council.

Any eligible candidates who are interested in the town council position must file a declaration of candidacy with the Kosciusko County Republican Chairman Randall Girod no later than Dec. 22. 

Declaration of candidacy forms are available in the Kosciusko County Clerk’s office, 121 North Lake St., Warsaw, and the Etna Green Clerk-Treasurer’s office, 132 West Broadway St., Etna Green IN 46524, beginning today, Dec. 3.
