BREAKING: Accident And House Fire In Syracuse
SYRACUSE — Turkey Creek Fire Territory and EMS, alongside Syracuse Police, were dispatched to a house fire in the area of North Street, Syracuse, near the intersection of North Main Street. Turkey Creek Fire called for an assist from Benton Township Fire Department and Milford Volunteer Fire Department.
While responding to the blaze, EMS and fire personnel were again called to an accident on North Kern Road. A single vehicle went off the roadway while traveling north, driving through a fence and striking a tree head on.
According to reports at the scene, the driver of the vehicle was ejected while the passenger required extrication.
Both victims were flown from Wawasee High School where Samaritan Air set up a landing zone.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, North Webster EMS, Milford Fire and North Webster Fire assisted at the scene of the crash.
SYRACUSE — While at a house fire on North Street, Turkey Creek Fire Territory was called to a single vehicle accident at 12478 Kern Road. Samaritan Air has been called and will be landing at Wawasee High School.
At this point there are two people injured and are expected to be flown from the scene.
North Webster EMS, Turkey Creek Fire EMS and Lutheran EMS are at the scene along with Turkey Creek Fire Territory.
