Fun For Kids At The Y Over Christmas Break
By SUMMER ZIMMER

WARSAW — The Y wants to make sure that kids have a safe and fun place to go while they’re out of school over Christmas Break. School Break Camp will keep kids kindergarten through sixth grade entertained, active and learning from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 1305 Mariners Drive.
On Dec. 21-23 and 28-30 and Jan. 4, kids will be active playing games and being creative. Special field trips include bowling on Dec. 22 and skating on Dec. 29. They’ll play movie charades, make crafts, bake and decorate cookies, play games, watch movies, play bingo, do a scavenger hunt and learn about being tobacco free.
Children should bring a lunch and tennis shoes every day. Registration forms are available for children who are not already registered as part of our Kids’ Club program. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required. Multiple day and sibling discounts are available. Contact Tonya Douglass with any questions at (574) 269-9622.
Through November 2015, the Kosciusko Community YMCA provided $157,679 in financial assistance to make sure that happens.
