The cause of the fire is undetermined, but it all started in this clothes basket.
UPDATE: Warsaw Fire Department, Winona Lake Fire Department and Lutheran EMS responded to an apartment fire at around 4:50 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19 at Victory Hotel, 223 W. Jefferson St., Warsaw.

The fire started in a clothes basket in an unoccupied apartment, and no cause could be determined at the scene. All residents were evacuated.
WARSAW — Warsaw Fire Department, Winona Lake Fire Department and Lutheran EMS are currently responding to a reported fire at 223 W. Jefferson St., Warsaw.
- The fire was reported around 4:50 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19.
- Warsaw Fire Department had the scene under control quickly.
- The clothes basket was quickly removed from the apartment before any major damage could be done.
- Faint smoke rose from Victory Hotel after Warsaw Fire Department arrived.
