Nina L. Jacobs, 85, of North Webster, passed away at 1:27 p.m. Friday, Dec. 25, 2015, at her home.

She was born on April 29, 1930 in Alexandria, to Ferrbee and Ollie M. (Hollingsworth) Cunningham.

She graduated in 1948 from Alexandria High School in Alexandria, and attended Ball State University in Muncie. On April 7, 1949 in Alexandria she married John W. (Jack) Jacobs who preceded her on July 9, 2015.

She retired in 1978 from Dr. Rohn Dental Office in Yorktown as a certified dental assistant after 16 years. She moved to the North Webster area from Alexandria permanently in 1983 after spending summers in North Webster since 1967.

She was a member of North Webster Church of God, former member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 253 in North Webster, and former member and president of the Dental Assistants Association.

She is survived by: a daughter: Rhonda (Danny Anderson) Jacobs of Nashville; two sons: John C. (Diane) Jacobs of Alexandria and Douglas W. (Peggy) Jacobs of Noblesville; five grand children; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents; husband; two sisters: Rose Cunningham and Harriett Stansberry; and seven brothers: Basil Ferdie, Charles, Harold (Tune), James, Daniel, & Marion Cunningham.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, at the Church of God, 300 N. Main St., North Webster, with Pastor Jeff Boyer of the church officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw, IN. Burial will take place at the Parkview Cemetery in Alexandria.
