WARSAW — The Food Bank of Northern Indiana’s mobile food pantry is scheduled for northern Indiana in January.
The mobile pantry offers dry goods, perishable items, dairy, grains, produce and protein free of charge to northern Indiana residents. The food bank sets up tables at pre-scheduled locations where people can “shop” and select items that best meet their needs.
The mobile food pantries are first come, first served for those in need of food assistance, based on available product, while supplies last. Patrons are asked to bring bags or boxes to transport their items home.
