LEESBURG — Leesburg Fire Department, with a full assist from Milford Fire Department, along with the ladder truck from Warsaw/Wayne Fire Territory, are at the scene of an attic fire.

At approximately 2:30 a.m. today, Jan. 7, the fire department was initially notified of smoke in the attic at 308 E. Van Buren Street. Firefighters arrived to find a working fire in the attic.

Fire officials at the scene report the fire was contained to the attic, with water damage throughout the home. The American Red Cross was contacted to provide clothing and housing for three adults at the residence.
