ETNA GREEN — The Etna Green town council met 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12.
The meeting started by installing the new president, Todd Slabaugh and vice-president, Keith Claassen.
The primary topic of the Etna Green meeting was the purchase of an electric sign. The council is looking for an electronic two-sided sign, with base, that is affordable for the town. They are preparing to take bids.
In other business:
- A study on the electric department’s electric rates will be presented in the February meeting.
- The council members discussed keeping the driveway the first responders use free from debris or potentially hazardous materials.
The next town council meeting will be 7 p.m. Feb. 9.
