Frosh Boys Pick Up Victory
The Wawasee boys freshman basketball team found the way to victory Saturday afternoon. The Warriors earned a 49-26 win over Jimtown to move to 5-7 on the year.
Marshell Miller led all players with 15 points for Wawasee. Aaron Evans added nine for the Warriors while Aric Krallman added eight.
“This was a great team effort today,” remarked a very pleased Vince Rhodes, Wawasee’s coach.
The Warriors will play host to Northridge Monday night.
Rostochak Hits Milestone In Loss
The Wawasee girls basketball team is still searching for it first conference win following a 47-39 defeat at Elkhart Memorial Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Warriors were led by Kylee Rostochak’s 23 points. The senior also hit a career milestone in the game by eclipsing 1,000 total career points.
Wawasee (5-12, 0-5) will travel to Whitko Tuesday night.
Wawasee won the JV game 35-22 to move to 3-11 on the year.
