William M. Livingston
William M. Livingston, 72, of Rochester, passed away at 9:38 a.m, Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, at Visiting Nurse Hospice of Fort Wayne.
On Jan. 31, 1943, in Hackensack, N.J., William Murray Livingston was born. He was a treasured son of William Murray and Trina Radyke Livingston.
Patriotism beckoned and Bill answered the call serving with the United States Air Force from Feb. 28, 1962, through Jan. 27, 1966. Following his service stint, he worked for the C & O Railroad. Later the company became CSX. Bill retired as a conductor after 38 years of dedicated service.
In Rochester, on Oct. 23, 2013, Bill and Carla “Kay” Murphy Small Livingston were married.
Bill was a member of Rochester’s Antioch Baptist Church and U.T.U.
Left to cherish Bill’s memory are his wife Kay, at home; 10 children: daughter, Constance Bunn; grandchildren: Christopher Sr., Joshua, Gabrielle, great-grandchildren Christopher Jr., and Austin; daughter: Dee Dee and Randal Chilcutt; grandchildren: B.J., Randal Jr., Drew, Jimmy; great-grandchildren: Jakob, Devon, Sam and Lola Mae; son: Tim and Leslie Pfalzgraf; grandsons: Dustin, Garrett; great-grandchildren: Daisy Mae, Maverick; daughter: Brenda and Phillip Stevens; grandchildren: Michael, Carly, Johnny, Wesley; great-grandchildren: Brendan, Gabe, Grace, Emma; daughter: Tracy and Jeff Bitner; grandchildren: Joshua, Nicky, Mariah, Dustin; great-grandchildren: Grace, Madelyn, Tristan, Levi, Emily and Cadence; daughter: Trina and Jeremy Rumsey; grandchildren: Stephani, Hannah, Noah; a great-grandchild: Gabriel; daughter: Sierra and David Modro; son: Billy and Stacey Livingston III; grandchildren Sophia, Lilia, Stella and Julia; daughter: Janeen and Anthony Clark; grandson: Donny; several nieces, nephews and fur babies: Prisca, Sadie, Kojack and Kiana.
Preceding Bill in death are his parents; a sister: B.J. Teschon; a son: Martin; grandchildren: Leah Anna, Macara; his second wife: Naomi Ruth; and his fur baby, Micah.
A celebration of the life of William Murray Livingston will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester, with Pastor Jerry Pitman officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
Military honors will be accorded by the United States Air Force Honors Team and the Fulton County Honor Guard.
