Rebecca Kay Curletti
Rebecca Kay Curletti, 72, formerly of Three Oaks, Mich., died at 3:05 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, 2016, at the home of her sister in rural Albion. She had been in failing health.
She was born Oct. 21, 1943, in Fort Wayne, a daughter of the late Wallace W. and Eloise Mae (Snyder) Clark, Jr. Her formative years were spent in South Whitley where she graduated from South Whitley High School.
In April 1973 she married Charles Curletti. They made their home in Three Oaks, Mich. Mr. Curletti died in 1974. She was a homemaker raising her two daughters. She regularly attended the River Valley Senior Center, Three Oaks, Mich. She enjoyed playing Bingo and cards with her friends. A movie buff, she also loved garage sales and flea markets. She developed a talent in creating ceramic animals and houses, which she would sell.
She is survived by a daughter: Lora Kay VanHolten, Buchanan, Mich.; grandchildren: Spencer and Sylvia Thompson, Buchanan, Mich.; Nathan (Jane) VanHolten, Grand Rapids, Mich.; Derick and Ryan Grosse, Holland, Mich.; great-grandchildren: Olympia and Logan VanHolten; two sisters: Judy A. Paseka, Albion; and Kathlee Fiveson, Calif.; a brother: Errol Clark, Warsaw; and a half-sister: Darlene Andrews, North Manchester. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Lisa Smith.
The funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Smith and Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. The visitation will be 2 p.m. until the service at the funeral home.
