Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

10:54 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, East CR 900N and North CR 300E, Milford. Driver: Marcus D. Gagye, 17, North SR 13, North Webster. Injured: Jessica Garcia, 17, North Sleeping Beauty Lane, Cromwell, a passenger in the vehicle, complained of pain to the chest and was treated at the scene by paramedics. Gagye lost control of his vehicle after turning onto CR 300E, hitting a tree. Damage up to $10,000.

Pierceton

Officers with the Pierceton Police Department investigated the following accidents:

7:58, Wednesday, Jan. 20, US 30 East and SR 13, Pierceton. Driver: Gianna M. Burkholder, 19, Robin Drive, Warsaw. Burkholder’s vehicle slid off the roadway into a ditch. Damage up to $10,000.

7:07 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, SR 13 and Market, Pierceton. Driver: Tyler S. Blocher, 19, East CR 150S, Pierceton. Blocher went to pass a vehicle on the right and struck a parked vehicle registered to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, West Main Street, Warsaw. Damage up to $1,000.

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

7:28 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, South Country Club Road, north of East Winona Beach Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Spencer R, Gareiss, 18, Country Club Road, Warsaw. Hit a deer. Damage up to $2,500.

6:34 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, Lake City Highway and North Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jovencio S. Veneracion, 64, Southtown Estates Drive, Winona Lake, Ashely J. Castro, 31, East CR 300N. Veneracion turned his vehicle in front of Castro’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

6:23 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, Salman Drive, east of South County Farm Road, Warsaw. Driver: Monte L. Powell, 64, Pheasant Ridge Drive, Warsaw. Powell’s vehicle slid on ice and hit a curb. Damage up to $2,500.

5:35 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, West Street, south of Porter Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Troy N. Knefelkamp, 37, South Sycamore Lane, Columbia City, and Max L. Kinsey, 33, West Island View Drive, Warsaw. The firetruck Knefelkamp was operating struck the bucket on the fire department’s ladder truck Kinsey was operating. Damage up to $50,000.
