WCHS Girls’ Hoops Hosting Pink Out Night
WARSAW – The Warsaw girls basketball team will look to help out a very worthy cause on Saturday night.
The annual Lady Tiger Basketball Pink Out Night will take place at WCHS as Warsaw hosts Concord in a Northern Lakes Conference contest. Action will begin at 6:15 p.m. in the Tiger Den with the junior varsity game.
Money raised from events associated with the game will go to the Kosciusko County Riley Kids Fund.
Money will be raised by auctioning off the pink jerseys worn in the game by members of the Warsaw varsity team. Also, Brian Peterson Real Estate will donate $25 for each 3-point shot made in the game, the Holsclaw family will donate $25 for each free throw made in the game and Midwest Structural, Inc, will donate $5 per point scored in the game.
Warsaw will host Concord Saturday and host NorthWood Jan. 28 to end the regular season. The Tigers, who are tied for second place in the NLC with a 4-1 mark in league action, will then play in the Class 4-A Goshen Sectional the week of Feb. 1.
