Kohl’s Employee Arrested For Theft
WARSAW — A Winona Lake woman was arrested for allegedly stealing from Kohl’s.
Amy Nicole Foreman, 27, 409 Oak Hill St., Winona Lake, was arrested for count I theft, a level 6 felony.
According to an affidavit of probable cause, filed Jan. 19, with Kosciusko Superior Court, Warsaw, Officer Jordan Roberts of the Warsaw Police Department responded to a theft complaint from the local Kohl’s department store Jan. 14.
When Roberts arrived at Kohl’s he talked to a loss prevention employee, who stated Foreman, another employee of Kohl’s, had allegedly stolen $4,000 in cash from the store between Nov. 30 and Jan. 14.
Video surveillance showed Foreman stealing money.
The loss prevention employee presented a signed confession from Foreman stating she had stolen approximately $50-$300 a day from the store safe and a register. Foreman has also signed a document stating she would pay the $4,000 back to Kohl’s.
Foreman was held on $4,500 cash bond.
