NWCOG Announces Groundbreaking With DJ Construction
NORTH WEBSTER — The North Webster Church of God (NWCOG) and DJ Construction will reveal plans sure to delight adults and children alike during a groundbreaking ceremony on Feb. 1. The ceremony will be held at the NWCOG, and will unveil details of a 15,930-square-foot addition to the church starting Feb. 3. This is the first phase of an over 18,000-square-foot new construction and renovation project and is scheduled for completion in fall 2016.
New components of the addition include:
- A children’s space with large indoor playground
- A coffee bar
- An outdoor patio
Worlds of Wow! will design the indoor playground, as well as a number of uniquely themed classrooms in the new children’s ministry center. John McDaniel, a NWCOG representative, said the new additions and renovations will align well with the NWCOG mission, and will allow parents to connect with other adults while remaining close to their children.
“In addition to our standard ministries, our desire is to use the space to connect with schools, businesses and families through various venues,” McDaniel said.
The ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m., and a Q&A is scheduled with Senior Pastor Jeff Boyer and a representative from DJ Construction at 1:45 p.m.
