Microsoft Word Workshop Series
- 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11
- 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18
- 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25
Learn the basics of text layout, formatting, common tasks and working with templates. All skill levels and ages are welcome – from beginners to those just needing to brush up on Microsoft Word. You’ll also learn how to further your skills from home. It is not necessary to sign up in advance. This workshop series is free and open to the public.
Job Fair
- 2 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10
The Warsaw Career Center will host a Job Fair on Wednesday, Feb. 10, with part time and full time positions available. Companies attending include: Jimmy John’s, Elwood Staffing, Indiana Tech and Creighton Brothers.
These employers have expressed that good job performance and work ethic can lead to more advanced positions. Applicants should dress professionally, bring a resume and be prepared to interview that day.
Customer Service Workshop
- 1:30 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16
Does your current position involve interacting with customers on a regular basis? Or, have you always wanted to get a job working directly with customers?
Then plan to attend the Warsaw Career Center’s Customer Service Workshop. You’ll learn techniques to sharpen your skills so that you can advance in your current position or present yourself as a viable candidate at job interviews. The event will be at the Community Career Center, Just off US 30/West of Meijer, 751 Anchorage Point Drive, Warsaw.
