Master Gardeners Plan Classes On Perennial Plants

GOSHEN — The Elkhart County Master Gardener Class will be offering three programs on perennials this winter. The focus of the program will be how to add perennial plants to the landscape in various conditions like sun or shade. There will also be information on the use of perennials to add color to the landscape, and how to identify some of the key insects found around perennial beds.
The first program of these perennial programs will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Elkhart Environmental Center, 1717 E. Lusher Ave., on the southeast side of Elkhart.
The program will be repeated from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Feb. 27, at the Middlebury Public Library, 101 E. Winslow and again from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 2 at the Reith Interpretive Center, 410 West Plymouth Ave., in Goshen.
